Grace’s Tigers (formerly Mooby’s Funployees, and later just Funployees) are an international street hockey team and member club of the VASHL. The franchise began as Mooby’s Funployees and was added as part of the 2010 expansion, which also included the View Askew Girls and the LA Mings. In Kevin Smith’s View Askewinerse, the Funployees are the service staff of Mooby’s fast-food restaurants, featured in Dogma and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and serving as the backdrop to most of Clerks II. Mooby the Golden Calf is a fictional children’s television anthropomorphic cow character, a reference to the Old Testament story of the golden calf worshiped as a graven idol, parodies Barney the dinosaur and elements of Disney. In 2023, the franchise rebranded as Grace’s Tigers. Why Tigers? This is what Kevin Smith’s mother Grace calls him and it’s a nod to her as well. If you are a true fan of Kevin’s you already know this. Contents |

Team History
The FUNployees have the distinct pleasure of having one of their players paint a fellow teammate, an innocent Flyers t-shirt and the floors of the Brantford Quality Inn with his puke. It was a move of complete disrespect towards the Philadelphia Flyers.
In all seriousness, though, the FUNployees may demonstrate the underdog values of the VASHL best. For a team that had to endure the hottest jerseys ever and then the most ramshackle jerseys ever, not to mention numerous dropout players, they haven’t done so bad for themselves. That lies in their ability to evolve to the seemingly never-ending series of changes they face. While other teams have maintained a consistent lineup since they began, the FUNployees have always welcomed new players to their team and been able to accommodate them.
Though the FUNployees have yet to reach to finals, they still managed to stand their ground against their fellow VASHL teams, especially when some betting has come into play. Their strong team camaraderie, sense of humor and willingness to work in any situation has made them a trademark team of the VASHL.
