The Most Valuable Player Award, affectionately known as “The Mooby”, is presented annually to the VASHL’s top player at the Walter Gretzky Street Hockey Tournament. This prestigious honor recognizes an individual who demonstrates exceptional skill, leadership, and impact on the court, elevating their team’s performance throughout the tournament.
The award’s trophy features a statue of Mooby the Golden Calf, an iconic fictional character created by Kevin Smith—a nod to both View Askew lore and the playful spirit of VASHL.
